City of Phoenix New Contractor Orientation 
(low income household weatherization assistance program)
Please join us on August 11, 2009, 2:00 p.m. first Floor Assembly Room C., at the Phoenix City Hall, for a special New Contractor Networking and Orientation. Over the next 3 years, the City of Phoenix’s Neighborhood Services Department estimates that over 1,400 housing unites will be assisted by one of the following programs and qualified contractors are needed to conduct the work:

Target Area Only:

Comprehensive Housing Rehab Program
Reconstruction Program
Lead and Healthy Homes Program


Emergency Home Repair Program
Weatherization Assistance Program
Hardship Assistance Program

NOTE: Other programs and opportunities may also be discussed.

Each program addresses specific issues to housing structures and contractors are used to make repairs or conduct major remodeling.

Presented by Housing Rehab Supervisor Bruce Nelson, Program Manager Yolanda Martinez and key staff, at this orientation you will learn about:

Information on the application process
Information on the required insurance, trade credentials and licenses
Information on the required City of Phoenix registration.

Minority, Woman-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) are encouraged to attend.
